    I love his writing, but having read six or seven different obituaries today, Salinger comes off as a terrible person. Plus, I’m torn between hoping everything he’s been scribbling away will now be published, and being frightened to death that someone undeserving and incapable of doing it justice will option the rights to his work and make terrible, terrible films. No one’s seen him in twenty years, couldn’t they’ve pretended he’s still around?!
