I promise this won’t turn into a baby blog, but I had to give us the chance to clean up a little.

Aw, cute! That is a great shot of him in the crib.
Congratulations to you and your family, Bryan!! And there’s nothing self-indulgent about paternal (or parental) pride. 🙂
Hey, wow! Congratualtions!
Thanks, everyone!
Congratulations on a very cute baby. I recognize that baby blanket, I got the same ones at Beth Israel. If it’s not too late I recommend that you take as many as you can with you, they are great blankets and you can’t buy anything nearly as high quality in terms of thick, cotton and indestructible. 16 years later and I still treasure them!
Thanks, Jill, for reading, and for the comment/congrats! I’m not sure how many we made off with — but you’re right, they’re sturdy. I’m not sure we had any left over from our earlier kids — almost 16 years for us, too. We had long since gifted most baby remnants …
Luckily for us we’d retained this, which will likely be rehearsed to this baby ad nauseam.
Oh my God he’s adorable. I presume you’re already feeding him a steady diet of Walt Whitman and Velvet Underground? After all that cradling on your shoulder he should come to know the former pretty well.
Congrats to you and your wife, professor!
