This morning Cyrus and I received fresh-from-the-press copies of our Cambridge Companion to the Literature of New York. They look fantastic. We’re told that the official pub date was March 11, but they’re still only available for pre-order online.
Stay tuned over the next month or so as we announce launch parties, readings, and other promotional events. We’ll also be profiling our contributors over the coming weeks. Until then, thanks to everyone who had a hand in pulling it together!
Congratulations! I can’t wait to read it.
Me either!
P.S. I finally watched all of “The Cruise” tonight while dogsitting alone at my sister’s house. I am suddenly incredibly aware of just how rural my current residence is. Luckily I am making my way back to the cacophony in less than a week. I love his list of grievances at the end, especially the one about bananas. Hope all is well and congrats!
Thanks, Pat and Andrea. We hope the books will be available sooner than later — and that you may be around when we’re scheduling celebrations!
Hurray! Congrats to you both. I saw an advance copy in Prof. Patell’s office, they looked great.
I watched “The Cruise” recently, too. I’ve lived in New York for my entire life but that movie fundamentally changed how I view and experience the city.
Looking forward to your book!
